The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) - Day Shift, Rehab Facility role is onsite in Palos Verdes Estates, CA, with compensation of $20 per hour. The posting describes a part-time morning schedule on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 6:00 a.m.–2:15 p.m., with a 32-minute unpaid meal break. Throttle and Thrive identifies the work as supporting clients at a substance-use-disorder inpatient facility. The BHT supports client care and facility operations by carrying out protocols, medication pass, vital checks, group documentation, and appointment and activity coordination. Duties also include paperwork, cleaning, laundry, intakes, admissions and discharges, de-escalation, client transportation, and other assigned tasks; a valid RADT or similar credential, current CPR/First Aid certification, and a California driver’s license are required.

What you'll do

• Complete paperwork and group documentation
• clean and perform dishes and laundry
• follow company protocols
• conduct medication pass and take vitals
• support client care and facility schedules
• assist with intakes, admissions, and discharges
• de-escalate situations
• transport clients and run errands
• perform computer work, vehicle washing, and yard work.
