What you'll do

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, stripping, filling, masking, and cleaning
• apply stains, paints, lacquers, varnishes, oils, and other finishes
• match colors and finishes
• operate spray equipment and hand tools
• inspect finished pieces
• mix and label materials
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• clean and maintain tools, equipment, and ventilation systems.
