Mechanical Field Technician

Job overview

The Mechanical Field Technician role is based in Findlay, OH, with pay of $19–$23 per hour. The work is field-based and requires travel across a multi-state area, sometimes keeping the technician away from home for days or weeks. OWL Services provides installation, compliance testing, maintenance, and repair services for commercial and industrial customers. The technician performs underground storage tank compliance testing, inspections, repairs, and maintenance at customer sites. The work supports safe and compliant fuel-system operations and provides a path to learn the trade and potentially advance to foreman.

What you'll do

• Prepare sites for testing
• set up testing and safety equipment
• remove manhole lids for tank access
• drive a DOT-registered commercial motor vehicle
• perform tank and line tightness testing, leak detector testing, vapor recovery and cathodic protection testing, inspections, repairs, cleaning, and minor maintenance.
