Sheet Metal Shop Technician — 2nd Shift

The Sheet Metal Shop Technician — 2nd Shift role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with compensation of $30–$50 per hour. This technician fabricates precision flight hardware by operating and maintaining sheet metal equipment, inspecting components against engineering requirements, and working with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve fabrication processes and product quality.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and maintain sheet metal cutting and forming equipment
• interpret drawings and flat patterns
• measure and inspect components
• collaborate with manufacturing and design engineers on fabrication processes
• perform drilling, riveting, and fastening
• troubleshoot and maintain equipment
• train operators
• maintain a safe, organized workspace
• and provide feedback on work instructions and tooling.
