Medical Assistant

What you'll do

• Review charts before appointments
• record vital signs, height, weight, and visit reasons
• direct and prepare patients for examinations
• assist providers with examinations and procedures
• document care in the electronic medical record
• collect and process specimens following training and safety precautions
• perform EKGs and pulmonary function tests
• maintain supplies, equipment, instruments, and clinical areas
• participate in quality assurance and training.
