The Shelter Operations Manager role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN. Pay is $71,000–$75,000 per year. Cornerstone’s mission is to disrupt violence through advocacy, support, and prevention for individuals and families in the Twin Cities area. The manager oversees daily operations and program quality for emergency services, including 24-hour shelter, hotel, and crisis-line services. By supervising staff, supporting survivor-centered advocacy, and managing operational and reporting requirements, the role helps maintain safe, responsive services and support transitions from shelter.

What you'll do

• Oversee and evaluate shelter, hotel, and 24/7 crisis-line services
• supervise, coach, and support staff
• collaborate on recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training
• oversee advocates’ support for participant goals, safety plans, resources, and transitions
• ensure staff knowledge of housing and community resources
• maintain advocacy, confidentiality, privacy, and referral practices
• respond to grant, reporting, staffing, and budget requests
• oversee shelter resources, facilities, transportation, and contracted services
• maintain personnel records
• monitor data entry and reports
• review invoices and financial records
• document and report critical incidents.

Why this role

Monday–Friday core hours are 9 AM–5 PM; occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Includes an on-call rotation once every four weeks.
