The Classification Information Security Analyst is an onsite role based in Golden, CO, with a salary range of $83,600 to $150,500 per year. This position supports the Office of Laboratory Protection at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR). The role exists to manage the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) program and support Classified Matter Protection and Control (CMPC) and Operations Security (OPSEC) programs. The analyst will ensure security requirements are integrated into organizational operations and information management processes.

What you'll do

• Lead the implementation and oversight of the CUI program.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate CUI management solutions.
• Support OPSEC and CMPC programs.
• Conduct internal reviews and audits.
• Provide guidance on proper marking, handling, and safeguarding of sensitive information.
