Body Technician (Flat Rate)

The Body Technician (Flat Rate) is an onsite position in Crystal River, FL, with a flat rate compensation of $20 to $29 per hour. This role supports the collision repair facility by performing structural and cosmetic repairs to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. The role exists to provide an exceptional customer experience through high-quality vehicle repairs. By disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles, the technician plays a pivotal role in meeting the facility's key performance indicators and maintaining the company's reputation for speed and quality.

What you'll do

• Plans repair work and prepares cost estimates
• uses tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers
• hammers out dents and applies filler resins
• realigns car chassis and frames
• removes and replaces damaged sections
• welds and fits parts
• prepares and repaints vehicles
• inspects vehicles after repair.
