The Custodial Services Worker is an onsite role based in Ellabell, GA, supporting the Savannah College of Arts & Design. The hourly rate for this position is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment to ensure the safety and health of others. The Custodial Services Worker performs cleaning tasks, manages waste disposal, and reports maintenance concerns to support the college's facilities.

What you'll do

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, cafeterias, and common areas to established cleanliness standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned spaces throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment, cleaning tools, and housekeeping supplies.
• Follow OSHA, company, and site safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Identify and report facility maintenance issues through the work order process.
• Lock and unlock designated areas as required and help maintain building security.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing assigned duties.
