The Part-Time Nurse Assistant, Memory Care, Evenings (3 p.m.–11 p.m.) role is onsite in Charleston, SC. Compensation is $16.89–$17.95 per hour. The schedule is 3 p.m.–11 p.m. every other weekend. Bishop Gadsden is a not-for-profit, faith-based retirement community affiliated with the Episcopal Church, and this role supports its Memory Care team. The assistant provides personal, nutritional, and restorative care to residents while promoting independence. Duties include assisting with daily living and dining, supporting activities, observing and reporting changes in condition, communicating with the multidisciplinary care team, and following resident-rights, HIPAA, and safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with basic care and activities of daily living
• support activities and dining needs
• encourage independence and optimal functioning
• give and receive shift reports through walking rounds
• observe and promptly report changes in resident condition
• coordinate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• launder and iron residents’ personal items as needed
• follow attendance, safety, resident-rights, and HIPAA requirements.
