The Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Technician role is onsite in Pipersville, PA, supporting RESPEC’s Pipersville location. The technician performs construction quality assurance inspections and testing and maintains project documentation, helping project managers verify that project specifications, standards, and timelines are met. When CQA field work is unavailable, the role may assist with other field service programs, including drafting, surveying, operations, and engineering support.

What you'll do

• Inspect and observe solid waste, environmental, and civil construction projects, including soils, concrete, reinforcement, geosynthetics, and mechanical systems
• perform soils density, compaction, and proof-roll testing
• interpret engineering plans and specifications
• coordinate with testing laboratories
• inspect erosion and sediment controls and permit compliance
• monitor contractors and coordinate deviations with project teams
• prepare field and testing reports
• coordinate project milestones with managers, staff, contractors, and clients
• assist with other field service programs during periods without CQA field work.
