The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN), PRN role is onsite in Granite City, IL, paying $65 per hour for a 12-week contract. Gateway Regional Medical Center’s Medical/Surgical team provides care to patients and families in the surrounding St. Louis metro communities. The RN provides comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, assessing changes in condition, developing and evaluating care plans, administering medications and treatments, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team. The role also supports patient education, safety, documentation, transitions of care, and quality improvement.

Why this role

Required schedule is two days per week. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Illinois RN license, and current BLS certification. New graduate RNs may be considered; ACLS and acute-care experience are preferred.
