Compensation is $0 per year. The Inpatient Dietitian — Acute Care is an onsite, full-time position in Wyoming, MI, at Unidine at University of Michigan Health West. The role supports acute-care patients across adult critical care, medical/surgical/telemetry, neurology, orthopedics, and oncology. The dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy and education to support patient recovery and health outcomes. The role includes nutritional assessment, individualized care planning, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, collaboration with food service management, and staff or intern education as applicable.

What you'll do

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans
• educate patients, families, staff, and the community on nutrition and lifestyle strategies
• apply current research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols
• contribute to QAPI initiatives
• partner with food service management on patient satisfaction and service goals
• support staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
