CNC Operator

Job overview

The CNC Operator role is onsite in Rochester, NY. The stated pay range is $22–$26 per hour. The operator works with Framing Technology’s CNC Department Supervisor and production team to manufacture metal components. The role sets up and runs CNC equipment, checks finished parts, and makes adjustments to support accurate, efficient production. It also contributes to safe operations and production continuity through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and teamwork.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC machinery to cut and machine aluminum, steel, and other metals
• interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
• select materials, tooling, and machine settings
• monitor production and inspect parts
• adjust machines and input offsets
• perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• and cross-train on other equipment as needed.
