ServiceNow Platform Architect

Job overview

The ServiceNow Platform Architect role is onsite in Washington, DC; the posting lists pay of $70–$76 per hour. The client is the central technology organization of the District of Columbia Government, supporting technology infrastructure, enterprise applications, and services for District agencies and the public. The architect designs and implements ServiceNow solutions that address IT service management, asset management, change management, and other organizational needs. The role translates stakeholder requirements into secure, scalable platform architecture and provides technical direction to development teams.

What you'll do

• Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions, technical architecture, data models, integrations, and workflows
• guide development teams and mentor team members
• gather and analyze requirements and produce technical specifications
• develop and configure the platform using JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, and CSS
• implement integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and other techniques
• optimize performance and scalability
• support governance, compliance, and security
• create technical documentation and provide training and knowledge transfer.
