What you'll do

• Obtain blood specimens, including blood cultures and samples
• process and distribute patient specimens
• organize laboratory test requests and chart laboratory reports
• maintain laboratory data-processing equipment
• communicate between nursing units and the laboratory
• assist students with technical, clinical, and problem-solving development
• perform assigned clerical duties and help clean laboratory equipment.
