The Senior Mill-Turn CNC Machinist (VMC/Lathe) is an onsite, direct-hire position in Michigan City, IN, with a 5:00 a.m. start and four 10-hour days, Monday–Thursday; overtime is as needed. Pay is $29–$35 per hour, depending on experience. Integrity Trade Services is partnering with a manufacturing client on this opening. The machinist independently sets up and operates CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts. The role supports production quality and throughput through complex setups, program adjustments, inspection, troubleshooting, process improvements, and guidance for less-experienced operators.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
• interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• select tooling, fixtures, and workholding
• establish and verify offsets and machine settings
• adjust programs, feeds, and speeds
• perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
• troubleshoot machining and process issues
• monitor tool wear
• collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality
• document production and inspection
• coach Level 1 and Level 2 operators.
