The Endoscopy Technician, Gastroenterology role is onsite in Detroit, MI, with hours Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and Saturday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The role supports Henry Ford Health’s Gastroenterology department and its patient care mission.

What you'll do

• Assist GI providers during colonoscopy and EGD procedures
• prepare and maintain endoscopic equipment
• clean and sterilize scopes according to infection-control protocols
• monitor patient comfort and safety and communicate observations to nursing staff
• and collaborate with nurses and clinical staff. A high school diploma or GED and current BLS certification are required
• relevant clinical experience and related training are preferred but not required.
