The Youth System Guide — Youth Homelessness Services role is onsite in Orlando, FL, with compensation of $20.50 per hour. SALT Outreach’s program serves youth and young adults experiencing homelessness in Central Florida, including Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. The guide connects unaccompanied and pregnant or parenting youth under 25 with resources, individualized plans, and housing support. Through outreach, case management, referrals, and collaboration with community partners, the role helps youth access services and move toward safe housing.

What you'll do

• Conduct outreach to youth-serving institutions and communities
• screen and assess participants
• provide referrals and connections to social services and shelter as appropriate
• help participants create and carry out individualized goals
• support housing problem-solving and access to safe shelter
• document services in SALT systems and HMIS
• collaborate with coordinated-entry staff and partner agencies
• participate in case conferences and relevant meetings
• recruit youth for Youth Action Boards and advocate for youth voice.

Why this role

$20.50 per hour; bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination including lived experience of homelessness. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required.
