Industrial Maintenance Technician — 2nd Shift

The Industrial Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Charlotte, NC. Pay is $28–$32 per hour, based on experience. The technician supports Qual Pac’s Frito-Lay dedicated facility and its contract packaging operations. The role maintains production, packaging, and warehouse equipment to support reliability, reduce downtime, and keep daily production operating safely. It combines preventive maintenance with troubleshooting and repair in a food-packaging environment.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production, packaging, and warehouse equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• troubleshoot 480V three-phase systems, VFDs, sensors, and servo motors
• assist with PLC and controls issues
• perform minor welding and fabrication
• maintain batteries and chargers
• document repairs
• respond to breakdowns
• follow OSHA, safety, food-safety, and GMP standards.
