Management Trainee, Seed Production

The Management Trainee works onsite in Remington, IN; compensation is not specified. Remington Seeds produces corn, soybean, wheat, sorghum, and sunflower seed and provides seed services through facilities and grower partnerships. This full-time, entry-level program prepares trainees for future management roles through a two-year rotation across locations and crops. Trainees learn seed production and facility operations while assisting managers and supervising production and operational tasks as needed.

What you'll do

• Train in field operations, seed conditioning, customer packaging, and basic warehousing
• learn facility operations and seed-processing equipment
• develop familiarity with inventory control, quality management, safety, and budgeting
• inspect and supervise production fields and activities
• participate in preventive maintenance
• coordinate seasonal work
• supervise employees or crews during seasonal activities as needed.
