This role exists to ensure compliant prescription processing and effective business operations. The Pharmacist will validate prescription accuracy, mentor staff, and maintain strong relationships with veterinarian clients to drive organizational success.

What you'll do

• Ensure all prescriptions dispensed meet all federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
• Provide constructive feedback to maintain safe and efficient prescription processing.
• Validate accuracy of all prescriptions and follow up on any discrepancies in the prescription filling process.
• Maintain secure, clean and safe pharmacy/warehouse.
• Set direction and prioritize, allocate resources, set and meet deadlines.
• Problem solve through issues to identify, analyze and recommend solutions.
• Status regularly with manager to discuss business priorities and current operations.
• Partner with sales team and leadership to maintain open lines of communication and resolve systematic issues.
• Communicate with veterinarians and office staff to build strong working relationships.
• Encourage the growth of all employees through skill development.
• Mentor staff, measure performance, and complete and/or provide input on performance reviews.
• Resolve employee issues in an effective and consistent manner.
• Motivate staff to perform at their highest level and recognize their achievements.
• Set direction and priority, define job roles, distribute workload and set deadlines.
