Laboratory Technician, Third Shift is an onsite role in Clark, NJ, working Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The stated pay is $24–$28 per hour, plus a $1 shift differential. Kerry's Clark facility produces natural flavorings, essential oils, seasonings, and related products. The technician provides laboratory testing and administrative support for manufacturing, working with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and R&D. Sensory and instrumental testing, accurate result reporting, and safe laboratory practices help support product quality and manufacturing operations.

What you'll do

• Perform visual, odor, and taste tests on raw materials and finished products
• prepare samples for sensory evaluation
• learn sensory, physical, chemical, and instrumental evaluation methods
• retrieve standards and generate worksheets
• maintain clean and safe laboratory equipment and environment
• perform wet chemistry tests using instruments including IR, colorimeter, SG, RI, pH, and particle-size testing
• submit results through paper and SAP systems
• prepare sample shipments and labels and check certificates of analysis.
