What you'll do

• Operate and tend boilers, auxiliary equipment, pumps, air-conditioning and air-handling equipment, and emergency generators
• maintain building systems and equipment including fire pumps and alarms, water systems, cooling towers, vacuum pumps, elevators, and refrigeration equipment
• perform normal building, furniture, and equipment repairs
• respond to fire alarms and disaster codes
• maintain equipment and daily logs
• participate in daily inspections
• assist with parts and supplies inventory as needed
• follow safety and infection-control procedures
• respond to the hospital pager and Support Services Administration.

Why this role
