Compensation is $1–$0 per year. The Virtual Design and Construction Manager role is full-time and onsite in Indianapolis, IN; remote and hybrid options are not available. F.A. Wilhelm Construction’s mission is to empower people to build what matters and create positive community impact. The manager leads virtual design and construction activities across multiple projects, establishes digital coordination standards, develops team members, and connects models and technology to project planning and field execution. The role helps project teams improve coordination, constructability, and delivery from planning through closeout.

What you'll do

• Lead VDC delivery and coordination across projects
• maintain standards, BIM execution plans, templates, and quality controls
• oversee model setup, multidisciplinary coordination, constructability analysis, and clash resolution
• collaborate with project stakeholders
• connect VDC processes to procurement, prefabrication, layout, logistics, installation, and closeout
• review models and documents
• lead and develop VDC staff
• evaluate and implement technology and workflows
• resolve escalated coordination issues and support teams through site visits.
