Lead Youth Care Specialist — Mid Shift

The Lead Youth Care Specialist — Mid Shift role is onsite in Fort Worth, TX. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Turning Point’s youth care program through direct care, supervision, and on-shift leadership. Working on the floor with youth for at least 90% of the shift, the lead provides structure, models trauma-informed practices, and guides frontline staff. The role helps maintain consistent routines, safety, and care aligned with youth-specific plans.

What you'll do

• Coordinate staff assignments, transportation, and youth supervision
• ensure routines, schedules, treatment guidelines, and care plans are followed
• lead shift-change meetings when the Shift Supervisor is absent
• provide direct supervision and TBRI-aligned engagement
• support de-escalation and crisis response
• administer medications under agency protocols
• complete and review documentation
• coach staff
• communicate updates to supervisors and off-shift staff
• collaborate with clinicians, caseworkers, medical staff, volunteers, and families.

Why this role
