Medical Assistant — Outpatient Clinic

The Medical Assistant position is onsite in Fort Collins, Colorado. Pay is $22–$25 per hour. American Family Care provides walk-in urgent care seven days a week, with onsite labs and in-house X-ray capability. The role supports licensed providers in delivering outpatient medical care. It prepares patients and exam rooms, performs clinical and laboratory tasks, administers prescribed treatments, and maintains accurate documentation to support timely patient care.

What you'll do

• Obtain vitals and medical history
• prepare patients for exams
• explain prescribed procedures and treatments
• perform ordered tests
• administer prescribed medications and treatments
• draw blood and prepare laboratory samples
• perform lab quality controls and equipment maintenance
• conduct drug screenings
• document immunizations
• coordinate referrals and pre-certifications
• prepare and sterilize exam rooms, instruments, and supplies
• maintain records.
