Counselor, Clinical Team

The Counselor role is onsite in Fall River, MA, with compensation of $22.65–$24.01 per hour. Steppingstone’s counselor is an integral part of the Clinical Team and supports consumers in a structured, safe, and trauma-free setting. The counselor provides assessment, counseling, treatment planning, and crisis support while coordinating with families, community providers, and other agencies. The role contributes to consumer safety and progress by connecting people with services, supporting recovery and life skills, and maintaining accurate program records.

What you'll do

• Conduct screening and intake interviews
• orient consumers to services
• complete assessments and individualized treatment plans
• provide individual, group, and family counseling
• coordinate with community and human-service providers
• connect consumers to community resources and benefits
• provide education on health, finances, housing, life skills, and addiction
• intervene in crises and develop safety plans
• support discharge planning
• conduct drug screenings and breathalyzer tests as needed
• document services and maintain records.

Why this role
