Field Construction Technician – Telecommunications

Job overview

The Field Construction Technician role is onsite in Show Low, AZ, with outdoor field work and possible weeklong outings; pay is $19–$25 per hour. CellularOne provides wireless communications service to rural communities and tribal lands in the Southwest through a network of more than 240 cell sites. The technician supports telecommunications construction and tower projects, including excavation, underground and civil work, electrical and fiber work, concrete work, tower erection, and line, antenna, and microwave backhaul installations and upgrades. The role contributes to safe, functional network infrastructure and requires physical work that may include climbing towers.

What you'll do

• Perform excavation, underground construction, civil, electrical, fiber, and concrete work
• erect wireless communication towers
• install and upgrade lines and antennas
• install and upgrade microwave backhaul systems
• coordinate with tower owners, customers, engineers, and other industry professionals
• document projects and implement project plans.
