What you'll do

• Plan, schedule, and conduct lifestyle programs and special events
• recruit and develop resources and volunteers
• advise residents on individual and group activities
• prepare and distribute event calendars and community newsletters
• coordinate the community library
• manage supplies and contribute to the operating budget
• maintain participation and satisfaction data
• supervise recreation and event coordinators
• ensure applicable regulatory compliance
• develop and analyze resident surveys
• support public relations and volunteer recognition.

Why this role

Requires an associate degree in recreation, therapeutic recreation, education, gerontology, social work, or adult education; three to five years of related experience; and two years of supervisory or management experience.
