What you'll do

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment ponds, process-control sampling and testing, and adjust treatment processes
• review operational records and monitor flow, power, pressure, chemical, influent, effluent, dissolved oxygen, and pH readings
• operate and maintain treatment equipment and disinfection systems
• perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• conduct wastewater laboratory duties
• inspect and maintain collection systems, pipelines, lift stations, lines, laterals, mains, and manholes
• support staffing, budgets, capital improvement projects, performance metrics, safety, training, and regulatory compliance. The role may require shift work, on-call duty, or emergency response.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED, five years of progressively responsible wastewater experience including three years in a supervisor or lead capacity, and a Texas TCEQ Class C or B Wastewater Operator license or ability to obtain one within 6–9 months. Texas Class C driver’s license required; SCADA experience specified.
