Skilled Facility Medical Director – Primary Care Physician

The Skilled Facility Medical Director – Primary Care Physician role is onsite in Terre Haute, IN. This is a part-time position, and compensation is not specified. The role provides complex and geriatric care across settings while collaborating with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, facility leaders, patients, and families. It also supports clinical quality through practitioner collaboration and documentation audits, and may include medical directorships for senior living facilities.

What you'll do

• Provide complex and geriatric care to residents and patients across assisted living and skilled nursing facilities and at home
• collaborate with interprofessional team members
• support an average of five and up to 15 nurse practitioners and physician assistants
• audit up to 10% of practitioner orders or documentation monthly as required by regulations
• participate in frontline and backup call processes
• monitor quality outcomes
• attend required training and meetings.
