What you'll do

• Explain examination procedures and prepare patients
• review requisitions and clinical data
• obtain additional medical history as needed
• prepare procedure rooms and replenish supplies
• set up equipment and perform radiologic procedures
• control equipment to obtain diagnostic information
• use patient immobilization as needed
• apply radiation protection practices, including appropriate equipment settings and ALARA techniques.
