Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN, Occupational Health

The Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN, Occupational Health role is onsite at a client facility in Washington, DC, with pay of $38.95–$47.50 per hour. The nurse supports the client’s Health Unit and its goal of promoting a safe, healthy work environment and employee well-being. The RN provides occupational health services, including screenings, immunizations, injury care, and workers’ compensation follow-up. The role also maintains health records and surveillance information and responds to urgent or emergent situations according to protocol.

What you'll do

• Provide non-emergency and emergency treatment, screenings, immunizations, and minor-injury care
• provide illness consultations
• maintain the medical surveillance program
• document employee injury and wellness data
• act as nurse case manager for workers’ compensation cases
• provide occupational health office services including audiometry and spirometry
• review spirometry tests and audiograms
• monitor designated mailboxes and alert the Medical Director to urgent matters
• maintain exam rooms and supplies
• respond to urgent or emergent situations per protocol.

Why this role
