The position supports Safe-Way Garage Doors and First United’s shipping and loading team, preparing garage doors and related products for customers. The role exists to move, verify, organize, and load products accurately and safely for shipment. Proper staging, load securing, inventory handling, and shipping documentation help ensure orders are complete and protected during transportation.

What you'll do

• Pull and push product carts to the loading dock
• move garage doors, hardware, openers, and related products by hand or equipment
• load products into trailers and box trucks according to load lists
• lift, stack, pack, and organize products
• verify shipments using load lists or scanners
• stage products and organize loads by size, quantity, and route
• secure loads to prevent damage
• use forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and racks
• follow shipping and safety procedures
• report product, quality, shipping, or safety concerns
• use basic computer systems and ERP software
• assist with shipment closing and documentation
• maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock and warehouse.
