Payroll Manager

The Payroll Manager role is hybrid in Chantilly, VA, with three days onsite, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Compensation is $85,000–$95,000 annually. Addison Group is seeking a manager to oversee payroll operations for a large, multi-state organization. The manager leads full-cycle payroll processing, ensures accurate and timely pay and regulatory compliance, maintains payroll data, and supports system initiatives and process improvements. The role works with Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, vendors, and other internal partners to maintain reliable payroll operations.

What you'll do

• Manage full-cycle payroll for a large multi-state employee population
• ensure accurate, timely processing and regulatory compliance
• review payroll data, reconciliations, tax filings, and reports
• support system upgrades and maintenance
• partner with internal departments
• improve processes and documentation
• resolve discrepancies and employee inquiries
• manage vendor relationships
• prepare reports and support audits
• protect confidential payroll information.
