The Co-Lead Teacher, Preschool Classroom role is onsite in Lexington, MA, with pay of $22–$26 per hour. The Jewish Preschool of Lexington describes a warm, community-centered school rooted in Jewish values and relationships. The role partners with a co-teacher to share responsibility for curriculum, classroom management, and daily routines. Through play-based learning, attentive care, and family and colleague relationships, the teacher supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with a co-teacher to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum
• support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
• share classroom setup, cleaning, organization, and daily operations
• provide care including diapering and hygiene
• foster a safe classroom
• build relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• and contribute to clear communication and a team-oriented culture.

Why this role

EEC Teacher certification is required or candidates must be willing to qualify; CPR and First Aid certification are required. Previous toddler or early-childhood experience is preferred. Schedule options are Monday–Thursday 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m.–3 p.m., or Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
