The Contracts Analyst and Construction Paralegal role is onsite in Mooresville, NC, with compensation of $70,000–$80,000 per year. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, with occasional extended hours during quarter-end, peak project periods, or critical deadlines. The role supports the Legal & Compliance function of a construction organization. The role manages contract review and negotiation while supporting licensing, insurance, litigation, and other compliance matters. By identifying contractual risks and coordinating with attorneys, construction teams, and internal departments, the position helps the organization manage legal obligations and maintain organized compliance processes.

What you'll do

• Review, redline, and negotiate construction and subcontract agreements
• review scope-of-work provisions and identify contractual risks
• work with attorneys and construction teams during negotiations
• maintain contract and legal records
• draft and negotiate employment and licensing agreements
• coordinate licensing renewals and requirements
• support compliance processes
• track and submit insurance claims
• assist with outside litigation matters
• prepare legal documents and correspondence
• use technology and AI tools to streamline portions of contract review.
