Plastic Technician

The Plastic Technician role is onsite in Daleville, VA. Compensation is $21–$24 per hour. The position is in Eldor Automotive Powertrain USA’s Plastics department at its production facility. The technician optimizes injection molding processes so equipment operates safely and consistently while producing parts that meet customer specifications. The role supports production through changeovers, setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and collaboration with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams.

What you'll do

• Perform mold and machine changeovers
• set up, start, and optimize injection molding machines
• perform assigned preventive maintenance on molds, tooling, and equipment
• troubleshoot process, equipment, and tooling issues
• respond to alarms and failures
• follow safety and environmental procedures
• maintain an organized work area
• collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance.
