The assistant supports classroom teachers, supervises children, greets families at the lobby desk, and may help the management team with administrative duties. The schedule falls between 8:45 AM and 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional hours for required training and meetings.

What you'll do

• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom
• greet families at the Early Learning Center lobby desk
• assist classroom teachers with activities
• ensure children are properly supervised
• perform administrative duties as needed
• follow emergency procedures and maintain confidentiality
• attend staff meetings and required training
• support YMCA and community events.
