Project Engineer

Job overview

The Project Engineer role may be remote or hybrid depending on the local office and project site; the listing is in San Diego, CA. Compensation is $150,000–$200,000 per year, plus bonus. The engineer leads project development from greenfield or M&A through development, engineering, procurement, construction, and turnover, coordinating technical work and stakeholders to advance projects into operation.

What you'll do

• Lead technical due diligence
• select and manage engineering consultants and support EPC contractor selection
• develop specifications, diagrams, and contract exhibits
• oversee engineering during implementation, including periodic site visits and weekly meetings
• support project economics and financial close
• participate in equipment solicitation and selection
• support high-voltage equipment procurement and interconnection engineering.

Why this role
