Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Cambridge, MA, with stated compensation of $23–$28 per hour. The technician maintains a property through repairs, preventive maintenance, cleaning, and timely response to service requests and emergencies, while supporting resident relations and coordinating with site staff and contractors.

What you'll do

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, boiler, and general maintenance work
• handle cleaning and porter duties
• control inventory and purchasing with the manager
• communicate site issues with managers
• coordinate contracts and contractor activities
• respond to emergencies and service work orders
• maintain common areas and remove refuse
• complete preventive maintenance
• perform on-site janitorial duties.
