Accounts Payable Specialist

What you'll do

• Receive, scan, and process vendor invoices through document imaging and accounting systems
• coordinate invoice approvals and follow up with project managers
• respond to vendor payment and account inquiries
• maintain vendor tax and compliance records
• prepare weekly check runs and approved special payments
• monitor Positive Pay transactions
• maintain check registers and payment documentation
• assist with reconciliations, reporting, general ledger documentation, deposits, accounts receivable, and payroll
• support annual 1099 reporting and maintain accounting records.
