The Care Management Assistant (Psychiatric) role is an onsite position located in Randallstown, MD. The pay range is $17.00 to $24.75 per year based on experience. This role supports the social work team in the inpatient behavioral health units at Northwest Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health. The role exists to serve as a liaison between the hospital, the Office of the Public Defender, and the Office of Administrative Hearings. The assistant ensures legal compliance for involuntarily admitted patients, facilitates hearings, and provides administrative support to the social work department.

What you'll do

• Liaise between the hospital and legal offices.
• Facilitate weekly hearings.
• Assess patient insurance/financial status for discharge planning.
• Maintain departmental statistical data and reports.
