Job overview

The Enterprise Architect – Infrastructure & Technology Solutions role involves onsite assessments, meetings, and implementation activities in Chicago and surrounding Cook County communities, IL, with travel to Springfield and other Illinois locations as required. Salary is $130,000–$180,000 per year. The architect supports enterprise IT and infrastructure initiatives for stakeholders and customers in Illinois.

What you'll do

• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments
• lead architecture discovery
• assess environments and recommend improvements
• develop architectures across infrastructure, networking, cloud, identity, security, applications, and integration
• produce diagrams, specifications, and roadmaps
• align designs with standards and security policies
• evaluate technology and vendors
• define implementation prerequisites and acceptance criteria
• provide technical oversight
• support testing, deployment, migration, cutover, and transition to operations
• communicate recommendations, risks, and progress.
