The Excavator Operator / Wheel Loader / Skid Steer role is onsite in Locust Grove, Georgia. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour. M&M Recycling is a family-run scrap metal recycling company that keeps materials out of landfills and turns scrap into resources. The operator processes and prepares scrap metal using heavy equipment and specialized machinery, helping keep yard operations safe and efficient. The role includes sorting material, guiding truck drivers, inspecting and maintaining equipment, keeping work areas orderly, and cross-training to support overall yard operations.

What you'll do

• Operate an excavator, skid steer or wheel machine, and baling equipment
• use an excavator with a shear attachment to cut steel
• sort and separate scrap metals
• guide truck drivers to unloading locations
• conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance checks
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• support general yard labor and cross-train on equipment.
