Building Maintenance Worker — Full-Time

Job overview

The Building Maintenance Worker role is onsite at the IBM Learning Center in Armonk, NY, paying $31.53 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 1:30 pm–10:00 pm, and Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm. The position is with Flik Hospitality Group. The worker maintains the building and campus through routine upkeep, minor repairs, cleaning, grounds work, and event setup. The role helps keep facilities safe, clean, and operational, and reports major repair needs to managers.

What you'll do

• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• perform minor repairs to doors, fixtures, and furniture
• make minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
• clean and restore interiors after fire, smoke, or water damage
• monitor building security and safety
• move furniture and supplies
• mow and trim grounds
• remove snow and apply melting chemicals
• requisition supplies
• set up and remove event furnishings
• monitor contract cleaning work
• clean floors and restrooms
• report major repair needs.
