The Staff Global Supply Manager — Electrical and Electronic Components role is onsite in Palo Alto, CA. Compensation is $135,000–$165,000 per year. ALSO is an electric mobility company developing vertically integrated small electric vehicles to address transportation challenges. The manager owns sourcing strategy and supplier performance for electronics and semiconductor components from early concept through mass production. The role works with engineering, manufacturing, and new product introduction teams to secure supply, manage cost and risk, and align component sourcing with vehicle roadmaps.

What you'll do

• Develop global sourcing strategy for electrical and electronic components and semiconductors
• manage the semiconductor technology roadmap and approved vendor list
• negotiate long-term agreements and quality terms
• identify end-of-life, single-source, and technical risks
• lead should-cost modeling and value engineering
• develop supply continuity plans
• track market pricing, lead times, capacity, and technology
• establish supplier metrics and conduct business reviews
• travel to supplier sites when useful.
