The Lead Teacher – Daycare & Preschool role is full-time and onsite in East Brunswick, NJ, with a stated pay range of $17–$18 per hour. The teacher leads a classroom of 2-year-old children at The Learning Experience – East Brunswick. The role creates a structured, nurturing classroom where children learn through play and positive relationships. It supports children’s language, independence, confidence, and social, cognitive, and physical development while working with families, assistant teachers, and center leadership.

What you'll do

• Lead classroom routines and learning experiences for 2-year-olds
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• create activities using art, music, movement, sensory play, stories, and hands-on learning
• support development and independence
• assist with meals, toileting, rest, outdoor play, and transitions
• document development
• communicate with families
• collaborate with staff
• maintain a safe classroom and follow New Jersey childcare requirements.

Why this role
