The Project/Staff Accountant role is onsite in Oak Ridge, TN. Compensation is not specified. MS Technology seeks accounting support for project financial reporting and related business processes. The role exists to maintain accurate project and general accounting information and support financial decision-making. It contributes through project setup, billing and receivables, payables, timekeeping, month-end close, and procurement administration.

What you'll do

• Set up and maintain projects in Unanet, including cost codes, billing rates, and financial parameters.
• Prepare customer billings, monitor receivables, and address billing and collection issues.
• Support general ledger reporting, month-end close, audit inquiries, and process improvements.
• Assist with timesheet intake and allocation, review and enter vendor invoices, ensure coding and approvals, and process procurement documents.
